Position 1: (Senior) IT Support Coordinator
(The title of Senior IT Support Coordinator
or IT Support Coordinator will be commensurate with qualification and
experience.)
LOCATION:Shenzhen, China

JOB PURPOSE: Provide
support in the installation, operation and maintenance of systems and networks.
IMPACT &
INFLUENCE: This position will
interact on a consistent basis with: GTSI staff, students, faculty.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Manage
and maintain network equipment, security equipment, instructional equipment,
servers, office computers and peripherals.
•
Configure,
deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade the campus network.

Maintain
GTSI official website, email system, access system, and related systems.

Implement
security policies and procedures for storing and safeguarding data.

security, and IT risk management is a plus.

Position 2: Human Resources Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE: Perform activities in human resource
management fields including recruiting, on-boarding, benefits, and training.
Serve as information resource on human resources related processes and

Position 3: Financial Coordinator
LOCATION:

JOB PURPOSE:
Perform basic accounting related duties in support of the Institute’s
accounting functions.

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verify
the accuracy of accounting related documents such as invoices, requisitions,
purchase orders, time sheets, etc., and process for payment.

Process
reimbursement requests.

Ensures
compliance with receipting policies and procedures are met prior to posting
payment.

Maintain
accounting records, including inventory and asset records.

Assist
with the preparation of financial schedules and reports.

Position 4: Campus Services Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE: Coordinate the operation of GTSI campus services and campus
security. Ensure that the service requirements of GTSI are met in a timely,
efficient, effective and ethical manner. Ensure environmental safety, fire protection,
food safety and laboratory safety for the campus community.

basis with: faculty, staff, students, visitors, and vendors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work
with property management company to ensure successful campus operations.

with vendors to ensure delivery of quality products and services.

Participate
in the development of policies and procedures to ensure campus safety,
including environmental safety, fire protection, food safety, laboratory
safety, etc.

Coordinate

Position 5: Public Relations Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE: Implement GTSI’s communication
strategies from content creation to event planning alongside the Public
Relations Manager. Grow the Institute’s presence online, in the media and
amongst the target audience.

outlets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Increase
GTSI’s content output by working with faculty and students to develop angles,
pitches, interviews and multi-media storytelling.

GTSI’s brand building by planning and implementing year-round online/offline
events and activities.

Assist
in the preparation of GTSI publications and marketing materials such as the

support to students and academic programs. Serve as an

programs involving campus life.

• Respond to inquiries from students (in
person, phone, email and social media) regarding a variety of issues such as

activities with Georgia Tech or Tianjin University as needed.
• Generate reports related to student

regarding career exploration and development of professional skills in
preparation for internship experiences. Serve as a resource to employers

basis with: students, faculty, industry, staff, parents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Present and coordinate workshops, trainings,
seminars, orientations sessions, and outreach on career related subjects.
•Confer with students individually to assist
them in career skill development in such areas as establishing career plans,
writing resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews, and networking.
•Develop strong relationship with employers
to identify internship and employment opportunities.
•Maintain a database of GTSI internship

Position 8: Student Recruitment Marketing
Coordinator
LOCATION:Shenzhen, China

JOB PURPOSE:
Implement GTSI's student recruitment
marketing strategy in collaboration with colleagues in academic support and
publicity areas. Produce appropriate marketing tools to attract prospective
students from both mainland China and abroad. Generate leads and convert them
into applicants and enrolled students.

basis with: students, parents, faculty, staff, other academic institutions or
organizations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work
with academic programs, communication and marketing colleagues at GTSI and in
Atlanta to produce effective online and offline recruitment tools and materials

Manage
sections of the GTSI website that are relevant to prospective students
•
Coordinate
online and offline recruitment events
•
Maintain
relationship with partner organizations, visit them and deliver presentations

Coordinate
visits from prospective students and parents

Provide
academic counseling to potential students and respond to their inquiries

database of prospective students while ensuring security of the information
